How We are Funded

   ARF-LA's funding is derived through fundraisers, donations, and adoption fees. It is a costly and labor-intensive endeavor, but the emotional satisfaction of seeing lives changed not only for our dogs, but also for people is so VERY rewarding.  Every dog we rescue is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested for heart worms and treated if necessary.  ARFLA dogs are also wormed, treated for external parasites, and microchipped.   All health problems are treated at ARFLA's expense.   We can only continue our mission rescuing Louisiana's homeless dogs with the generous support of our community.   All donations are tax deductible.

A group of supporters that provides a stable foundation of financial support that is vital to sustaining the rescue work of Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana.  Recurring monthly gifts begins with as little as $15 and provides consistent, reliable funding for the dogs in our care. Donors often prefer this method of giving because it’s easy to budget and it feels great to be making a difference in the lives of so many animals consistently, throughout the year.

As a rescue that takes in the hard cases other rescues refuse, we have a handful of dogs that have spent most of their lives with us. They have been repeatedly passed over for adoption because of their breed, a health problem, or any other reason that is no fault of theirs. It is our hope to keep these dogs happy and healthy and offer them as much comfort and love as we can. We can’t do this without your help!
