Papa is back...the family just wasn't enjoying him anymore? He was enjoying three walks a day so would be a great walking companion. Now Papa is at our sanctuary heartbroken yet again...He had begun to trust and adore humans again and now he is back in a kennel. Poor old guy needs a nice home to live out the rest of his happy life. Moved to a foster home. Papa has become the man of the house's shadow...what a loyal dog when given the chance!! Way to go Papa. Papa Bear and his son were dumped at the local animal control facility after hunting season and both were HW positive. Poor guy is happy but a little shy. Papa is missing many teeth on top but can still put down the groceries!! At times he can be a grumpy old man with Nicholas, his son...and he just wishes to be left alone to nap!!!
