Checkers is in a foster home. If you'd like to meet him, please call Stephanie at 332-4756 to make an appointment to see him. He is about 12 pounds, up to date on shots and has been neutered. He was saved from the pound! He had to have a home before because he is so very lovable. Very sweet, makes a great lap dog. Loves being inside. Needs a secure fence, if left outside, because he is BUSY ridding the yard of birds and squirrels! He was adopted but he did not like the males of the family. He really needs to have a family of women. He likes children but prefers females!! He is heartworm positive and will be going through treatment thanks to his last adoptees. They partially funded it by donating his adoption fee to go toward the treatment! They loved him!
